We are a Polish organisation based in the United Kingdom. Our main project, Local Heroes, provides practical, everyday support through a growing network of volunteers.
We help with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, and transport, as well as completing applications, paperwork, and official documents. We operate in both Polish and English to support our community.
We are continuously expanding our network of volunteers across cities in Great Britain, allowing us to reach and support more people within the community.
In addition to direct support, we collaborate with and strengthen other organisations. Our project, Support Centre for Polish Community Leaders and Volunteers in the United Kingdom, focuses on training, workshops, and consultations.
The initiative includes in-person and online training, 1:1 mentoring, and first-response support in crisis situations. It develops skills in team management, communication, and conflict resolution.
As a result, we are building a stronger network of leaders, improving collaboration between organisations, and creating more stable support systems for the community in the UK.
